What to Bring on Your Course with SKUK Adventures
On a course it is usually best if you can use your own equipment which is familiar that way you can focus on the experience rather than getting accustomed to new gear. If you require any equipment or want to demo kayaks and paddles, during your course we can provide the following.

Other equipment you will need
- Long-sleeved tops (fleece recommended, rash vest if available)
- Short-sleeved top
- Swimwear for under wetsuit
- Sun hat
- Sun cream
- Sunglasses with retainer
- Warm hat
- Old shoes that will stay on in the water
- Towel or changing robe
- Warm clothes to change in to.
- Personal medications, first aid kit
- Lunch and drinks (fit for kayak hatch)
- Cash for parking charges

Kayak Camping Expedition Gear Checklist:

Clothing
- Quick-dry clothing
- Moisture-wicking base layers
- Insulating layers (fleece or synthetic)
- Waterproof jacket
- Footwear for around camp (you may need to walk some distance)
Camping Gear
- Tent or tarp
- Sleeping bag suitable for the season
- Sleeping pad or mattress
- Camping stove and fuel
- Cooking utensils and cookware
- Food and snacks
- Water bottles or hydration system
- Portable water filter or purification tablets
- Biodegradable soap and toiletries
- Fast drying towel
- Wild poo kit including trowel, paper and hand sanitiser
